Discover the lab's 'umbrella' projects

Several research projects are being made in LASB, most of them associated with the research projects of undergraduate and graduate students. See our YouTube for videos of some research. All projects are linked to at least one of the following lines of research of LASB:

 

i) Spatial and temporal patterns in biodiversity and ecological processes
ii) Ecology of inland aquatic organisms
iii) Ecology and management of non-native species

 

Albeit the variety of research carried out in LASB, two major projects deserve further description, given they comprise most current research. See details of them below.

PPGECO/UFPR - Graduation program in which we are involved (1/3)

PEA/UEM - Graduation program in which we are involved (3/3)

CNPq - the most important Brazilian agency for scientific finnancial support, usually supporting our projects

CAPES - the Brazilian agency responsible for graduate program support

Fundação Araucária - local agency in Paraná State for scientific finnancial support, usually supporting our projects
